Default Replaced AC system Saturday, purple fluid all over engine bay today

Saturday I replaced my dying AC compressor with a brand new one, and replaced the dryer, condenser, and orifice tube while I was at it. Today, I noticed a burning plastic like smell coming from the air vents, so I popped the hood and noticed that everything was soaked in a purple fluid. I took a photo of some of it soaked up on a cloth, does anyone know what this fluid is and how I can resolve the issue? Engine oil temp is fine, and its 105 degrees here today. AC is cold, but takes a while to get cold and ultimately isn't ice cold.

Looks like a dirty maxi pad to me.

How about a picture of the engine compartment? Can you tell which general area the leak is coming from?

Run some dye in your A/C system to see if you can pinpoint a leak. PAG oil is blueish and that could be what your seeing? Check your high and low ac valves and make sure they are not leaking as oil will come with them.

Found out today it is coolant, and that my water pump is on its last legs.

Did you flush your a/c system? How did you recharge it? Thanks
