Alrighty guys, haven't seen much of anything like this except on Fords. ![Rolleyes](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/rolleyes.gif)
I just installed an A/C system on the Z (compressor, dryer, the works). Drives fine and whatnot, but after a few miles, the temperature will start to slowly creep up, especially in stop-and-go. Keep in mind that it only does it with the A/C on. Once I shut the cold air off, the needle nudges back down to regular temps. Already replaced the thermostat, cap, and bled the system (might do it again for safe measure). Any ideas?

Just do it.
Only thing I would do differently than what I describe in this thread....take the condensor out and have it cleaned at a radiator shop. Don't do the banging method......but it did work fine for me.

Pull the plastic upper radiator support (that the lid snaps onto), and check between the radiator and condenser for trash, rocks, plastic bags, etc.. Also get underneath the car and check the front of the condenser for the same.. the F-bodies are bottom feeders when it comes to air, and they suck up garbage constantly. Lastly, check your cooling system for proper flow. If you drained coolant recently, there is a possibility it needs to be "burped" via the top hose.. If it STILL has issues, check the thermostat for proper operation.
