ummmm, what is this random switch?

ummmm, what is this random switch? so im currently in the middle of doing the high and low beams on mod for my 1998 camaro, and when i drop the kick panel, i see this randome little up/down switch.....its unlabeled.......what is it? its right to the left of the clutch pedal
It's not stock so you'll have to follow where the line leads to.

yea after looking closely, i gave it a little tug and it came right out with about a foot of wire with it...then i looked at the hole and it was a crappy drill hole, so idk.....if it was important ill find out soon enough
