Default firewall fuse box connector detach?

Im trying to figure out if this connector looking thing will come apart at the firewall or do I need to unattach some connectors under the dash to disconnect this? It is right next to the brake booster and comes off of one of the underhood fuse boxes.

best picture I could get with it being dark outside.

Get under the dash and follow the wires to their connectors. If i remember correctly theres about 7 or so plugs to unplug and you'll be able to pull it through the firewall. Ive done it several times to take out un needed wires.

Yeah I know I can do that, just wondering if that connector/plug looking thing will disconnect without having to pull through the wires in the dash

Yes you can pull it off the firewall. But its glued to the wires that run through it. So if you were wanting to try and run something through that connector, its gonna be a pain in the but.
