already did the leaf blower thing, and its been 24 hours, I think the water wouldve been gone by now..

try to look at all the fuze see if they are blown.

would a fuse really cause all this? wouldnt it just cause what ever said fuse is running off to fail?

how do u tell if a fuse is bad.. you cant always tell if the peice if broken off

not sure what tests autozone run on alternators but id still go with a bad alternator

well problem is fixed.. woke up today and shes at 14volts.. guess there so much water in it that it took a couple days to go away..

Id go with bad alternator as well. I had this happen once after it rained quite a bit and it started overcharging. Pulled the connector from alternator the one with small fragile wire attached and socket in alternator had water in it. Stuck a paper towel in socket to dry up water and made sure plug didnt have any water in it. Plugged it back in and was good to go. But since you have already had alternator out there shouldnt be any water in socket on alternator.

Don;'t change anything........its normal to have those issues after spraying the engine bay with water. It has nothing to do with the alternator. You got the electrical stuff wet. This happens to me every time I clean my engien bay....it will dry up on its own and go away.

Next time it happens all you have to do is drive around with your headlights on, fog lights on and A/C fans on high....rear window defroster too if you have it....that should keep the charging out of the red while its drying. It works for me.

Huh?

The problem is over-charging, not bad engine performance. Spark plugs and coil packs have nothing to do with electrical charging performance. Also, even if he used a fire hose water would not get into a spark plug hole if the plug was on there properly.

I must be on something or some of the answers in this thread are just plain weird...
