TBSS Gremlin Hey guys hoping someone here could help me figure this out... I just re-aquired my 06 tbss. (Sold it and than traded back for it) The person I sold it to put in a low milage engine/trans in the truck. Ever since the door locks and shift indicator go bazerk. THe shift indicator switch on the trans, the tcm, shifter, ign switch, and cluster have all been replaced. The trans was driven on in limp mode and burned up....trying to figure out th root problem before I get it rebuilt. Could the problem be transmission internal... Kinda lost on where to go and what to check next
Not going to be a simple one to figure out.
That is parts of a multiplexed system.
In other words individual modules talk to each other & fuctions are controlled thru these comminications.
Could be a PNP switch but have a scan tool to read anything ?
Could be a bad ground somewhere, my bet....
Likely your going to need a competent shop diagnose & repair this.
