Random starting issue

Random starting issue My car is a stock 99 WS6 A4. Most of the time it starts and runs normal but prolly 1 out of every 15 times when i go to start it i just get a click. Sounds like the starter hits the flywheel but doesn't turn it. Usually if i wait 15 minutes or so the car starts just fine or if im in a hurry i can turn the motor over by hand til it feels a little easier to turn then the car will start right up. The starter is maybe 9 months old but it was a cheap NSA one. I have tried a couple batteries and still have same results. Not really sure what to think of this since its so random. Could it be the starter going bad?

Damn that's gotta be a pain in the *** to get out and turn the motor over by hand.
Sounds like mabye the starter isn't engaging right mabye replace the starter and see does the one you bought 9 months ago have a warranty?
