Exclamation Need help putting pulley back on!

Ok, so the stock pulley came off fine with the 3 jaw puller. Now all the installer tools that all these auto parts stores rent out dont work, they are not long enough. I was told to use a m16 2.0-120mm to put the new pulley on. I have an SLP pulley, well the 120mm isnt long enough, and no1 carries M16 2.0-120mm, can sum1 help me find a solution?! Cant find threaded rods either. My car is on the 2nd day of down time now.

the correct way would be to order the install tool off ebay or make your own from threaded rod but since you seem to have the need to put it on now. what you can do is get a torch and heat up JUST the rear of th pulley hub heat it good for about 10 minutes then with gloves slip it onto the crank it should literally just fall right on and bottom out once its seat let it cool ten follow the gm torque procedure with a new bolt

I cant find any stores with metric threaded stock, might have to wait till monday when all the industrial places are open. That is a very tight fit, the torch loosens it that much?

Is there a seal on the SLP pulley? Looks like all metal, what if i heat just the very tip of it to slide on a little bit to get the old bolt in there to tighten it the rest of the way?

take it from someone who has stripped out their crank, find the correct install tool, don't try to pull it on by using a longer bolt, there is guy on site that sells a good setup, can't remember name so try search.
