Someone suggested i use carb cleaner to find my vacuum leak? They said rpm's will increase when i sprray near the leak? Im a noob to all this so what im understanding is i spray carb cleaner around my motor while its running? Where should i be spraying it? How much will the motor rev when i find the leak? thanks guys in advanced

Only spray it where gaskets are located, then spray all the PCV hoses, brake booster hose....behind the intake give it a good cloud of spray.

Yea, the rpm's should increase a little bit.

spray it in a small area, listen for rpms to raise if none move to another small area.

What year is your car? I had a vacuum leak that was very hard to find. It ended up being the rubber boot that the pcv goes into. The boot appeared fine on the top but when I pulled the pcv out and held the bottom of it I knew right away the rubber for the boot was fubar.
