It really could be anything...
1) oily fingertips on the surface of the bulb, when it heats up, it could shorten the life of the bulb
2) could just be a bad bulb
3) has it been raining there recently? Wash your car? Water could be getting in somehow and causing you problems
4) go to your local auto parts store and get new sockets, T/A guys have issues with the sockets burning up and corroding over time, I replaced mine about a year ago and no problems so far, not sure if this is a problem for camaro guys
