need help with 2000 camaro I just got this camaro with a v6, The problem with it is that when you turn off the key, The raido and windows remain to have power witch drains the battery. I do belive they should have power until the door is opened then shut off. From other threads i have read i have a feeling its a proublem with bcm, Witch i dont have a clue about. Please help I am lost and dont know where to start, Could it be a bad relay maybe?

yes never turn off unless you pull the fuse. dome light and everything else works as it should, But I did notice a wire that was cut behind fuse box so i spliced back togeather and then I couldnt lock doors. It would ding twice like the keys were in ignition and they were not. took wire back off and locks work fine.

Had the same problem with a truck i had, turned out to be a faulty door sensor, you know, the little spring rod thing that tells if your door is open or not, ended up replacing it and the problem went away.

fixed it I figured it out> It had to do with the wire that was cut for door locks, they cut it then jumped it to another curcuit and thats why nothing shut off so i put all that back and it works like it should. Now the doors wont lock thinks keys are in ignition. Took out the bcm board and found a cracked sodder joint, soldered it back and now everything works 100%.

bad idle anybody got any ideas about a bad idle? on a cold engine it idles rough and gets better as it warms up but still even then you can hear it a little but not that bad. If you shut the car off and start it right back up it will idle rough again for a few moments then start to get better again. Its not really a skip it kinda sounds like its gonna stall out.
