I tried a search but nothing really helped me. Alright so i have a 1998 firebird formula and about a week ago i noticed that my driver side auto window button stopped working. So now i have to hold down the button witch is no big deal, but when it gets to the bottom and i release the button there is a beeping sound coming from like behind the gauge cluster. Any help would be appreciated.

You probably have a bad express down module. It lives in a pocket on the side of the trans tunnel under the dash. When you say "the button" doesn't work, do you mean the express down feature?

ya sorry i was tired last night. the button does work but the auto express down feature does not and it makes a beeping sound when the window gets to the lowest point. so if it is the part you are saying do you know were i can pick one up. thanks for your help

You'll have to get it from a dealer. An online dealer like gmpartsdirect will save you a ton on these. They are rare both because the car is old and people buy them up for adding the feature to the passenger side door. I purchased mine a couple of years back for $35 but it looks like they are up by $75 now.

Driver window not working went down and never went back up pulled door panel put new motor in and new switch still not working does the express module make system work passenger window works

Hi to all.
I've the same problem of xFirmulax.
Anyone say where is located the window express control module?
I need help to find the module in my Car it so I can replace it.
the bad noise come over the driver feet, under the seerling column but I need a photo or help to find it.
