Question Need some sensor advice

My 5.3 came with no sensors or a harness. This is also my frist LS/EFI engine.

So. I need a list of what sensors i absolutely have to have! im also going speed density for turbo,so i know i need a 3 bar map. and i know the tps iac, i have those

pretty simple. I assume your going to be SD mode.
TPS
IAC
ECT
o2
map
crank positioning
oil pressure sending unit

I guess you don't necesarilly have to have these but I recommend it. fuel pressure guage, voltage.

with a m6 you can delete all of the reverse lock out etc. through tuning but I'm not sure what you would need with an auto.

I'm sure I'm missing 1 or 2 others.

yep itll be SD. and the crank sensor, that goes in the bottom pass side of the block right?

Ill probably end up using a fast system or Holley dominator system.

He forgot cam and knock sensors, you dont need a 3 bar unless your over 15lbs of boost i believe

well i will be over 15lbs lol, so, where does the cam sensor go? the 5.3 cover doesnt have any provisions?? and the knock sensor goes in the valley cover obviously, but are they 100% neccessary, forgive my ignorance but i wont learn if i dont ask.

I'm pretty sure you have to have a cam sensor.

I don't think you HAVE to have a knock sensor but it would be stupid not too. $50 sensor is some cheap insurance especially if you plan on running over 15lbs of boost.

i dont think the cam position is on the cover, its on the rear of the block, right next to the oil pressure sending unit...just pops in and is held down with a 10mm.
