Fiberglass "heater box" cracked..what now?
The heater box on my car is cracked. Its on the back left side under the cowl near the PCM. I can feel tons of air coming out through the crack. I know that my heat in the car sucks(volume of air, not temp of the heat its self) and my car runs low on vacuum.
Is there any way to patch/fix this without taking the entire thing out?
Can I put that foam sealant in the crack?
I am clueless about this one.

No, that stuff is horrible. What you need to do is weld the crack. This can be done one of two ways; by heat welding or by chemical welding. (Epoxy is a type of glue and is weaker than a weld. Often a weld will end up being stronger than the base material.)
The first step is to determine what kind of plastic the part is. Somewhere on the front side or back side, there will be a triangle with 1-3 letters stamped in it, identifying the type of plastic its made out of. From there, you can determine if its best to use a chemical or have a body shop heat weld it for you.
