Default Condenser out for engine removal?

For those of you who have taken the engine out the top in an f-body (01), do you need to take out the AC condenser for clearance or will just the radiator be suffice?
thanks

It sure makes it easier removing the condensor, that way you dont have to worry about crushing it,, but I would say that it can be done just be careful and take your time with some help also...

also remove both headers, I tried once to remove it with them on, and had to fight and cuss, and remove the passenger side header with the engine hung in the bay,, no fun. I am speaking from experience

Thanks for your reply, will heed advice. Did you pull just the engine or engine with tranny connected?

Just the engine,,I am not sure if the engine/trans can even fit out of the top together, I remove the trans, and its really not that bad, you gotta remove it at a pretty good angle or the balancer will hang on the core support.
