Default hub adapter for aftermarket steering wheel

I have an aftermarket steering wheel that I want to install on my 2001 Pontiac Firebird Formula. However, I need a hub adapter kit. My steering wheel is a 6 hole steering wheel. What hub adapter do I need? I talked to the sales guy from a store online and he insisted I need the quick release one with extender that will cost me around $230 dollars. THen I search Ebay and find 6 hole hub adapters for like $20. I don't want to spend more than I need to. Please someone help me!!

Not sure if it helps, but I recently installed a Grant steering wheel on a 99 Trans am and we used part number #GRT-3021 from Summit Racing. It was the quick release type which is nice.

hey there....yeah I saw the grant steering wheel adapter kits at autozone and O'reilly's. I'm not that lucky. Mine is a six hole steering wheel and the Grant ones I've seen are 3 hole. I see plenty 6 holes online....but most say they are vehicle specific and I can't find any for my '01 Firebird. HELP!!
