Question Window Motor or Switch

I have a 98 Trans am and my passenger window stopped working. First it would only go up or down really slow but now its completely done. It doesnt work from the driver side switch either. My drives side window works fine but occasionally the switch messes up but starts working again.

Im jus wondering if I should change the window motor or switch?

Do them both at the same time.

Sounds like the motor. F-bodies are notorioua forbthe window motors going bad. Ive replaced mine several times. There a relay kit you can buy to keep the motors from burning out but i cant think of the name of the company off the top of my head...

I would be willing to bet it is just the window motor that has gone bad. They are really notorious for it. I have chnaged out myabe 1-2 switches and I have done 100s of window motors. Change out the motor and you should be good to go.
