Default Rotors grinding on brake pad retainer clips - videos

I installed new pads/rotors (Wagner Thermo-Quiet pads) awhile ago and the rotors were scraping hard on the new clip things. I just went yesterday and got everything swapped out for new stuff, free, and the rotors are still rubbing on them.

It doesn't do it with the caliper part flipped up and the main caliper body (whatever it's called) is bolted in place, but I show you here where it does rub once it's flipped back down.

See when I lower that and put the wheel back on it sounds horrible

This shows the old clips from the first ones where the outer edges of the rotors are rubbing.

I can't seem to find any other hardware kits online to swap these out with, so my questions are where can I find a set that doesn't do this, or would it be okay to not even use them at all?

They're bent as far down as possible to fit the shape of the caliper.. and if I cut that flap off there won't be much stopping them from shimmying left and right with the pads as the brakes are applied.

Doesnt matter if they are put in right. Just as long as you get drunk and beat them to hell with your hammer it will be good to go. Isnt that right OP?!
