Oil Pressure?
I'm not sure how normal my oil pressure is, so I'd like to get some feedback from the crowd.
Cold, 1k rpm: 40-50 psi
Cold, 2k rpm: 50-70 psi
Warm, 1k rpm: 30-40 psi
Warm, 2k rpm: 35-45 psi
It's not entirely stable, one time cruising it can be at 35 psi at 2k rpm, and later after a stoplight or two it'll be at 45 or so.
Sub 1k rpm, though, I've seen it get as low as 20 psi. Should I be concerned? This is my first car with an oil gauge, and I've been monitoring it somewhat religiously.
Thanks.

as long as the oil pressure increases with the rpm's you are fine. i had an old trans am that ran 20psi warm however it had a strong increase when the rpm's increase. typicall rule of thumb is 10psi for ever 1000 rpm's
from what i researched it seemed like oil additives can sludge up the check valve in the oil pump, or it can just be a sign your oil pump is getting old
