Default How to flush the ac system

I have the system (but plugged off for 2yrs) how do I flush it out before I install the compressor

You can rent the vacuum tool from autozone. You will need to suck all of the oxygen out of the system before you put in freon

As to the original post, it is best to flush the system first before you install the components and then pull a vaccum before you charge it with 134a. Go to your local AP store and they have a can of flush you can spray in one side of the inlet for the Evap Coil and keep spraying until fluid flows out the outlet then use your compressor to spray it all out for a few minutes. Do the same for the condensor (unless new) and piping to and from the compressor. You will need a new Dryer/Accumulator and you don't want to flush that. Good luck and it's really not that hard.
