very loud clunking/banging noise when engaging

Default very loud clunking/banging noise when engaging

new here guys so please bear with me...have a 01 z28..auto..stock....one day i went to go start the car i noticed the oil pressure gauge jumping up and down...then zero...then the car would idle wierd..turned the car off and turned on the car it would do the same....oil pump out...(problem solved--just get a new one)..but after all that happend i turn on the car...shifted the gear into drive and it makes a very loud banging and clunking noise... into every gear...????? it makes that loud noise when its trying to engage...but it engages.. any ideas why...thanks in advance..sorry for the long message

Check trans mount, and drive shaft u joints first.

check drivehaft end where it meet to the rear diff check the play

Aww man..so I checked the things u guys told me to check and u were dead on..the tranny mount was all split up..worst of all one of the bolt is missing from the back where the driveshaft meets the diff..thanks for the help guys..much appreciated
