Default bad radiator cap or overheating?

I can hear hissing like coolant is going out the overflow tube after I turn car off, gauges showing no signs of overheating

Rent a radiator pressure tester and a leak down tester. Test the cap, cooling system then check the engine.

It's not over-heating yet if the gauge says it's not but a bad cap will cause it to over-heat at some point probably more sooner n less later ,,,,,,,,x2 for what Bww3588 said . The only way fluid should be exiting the cap is if it was just filled and it was over the normal point it will level itself to after 1 or 2 warm-up cool down cycles or it was driven really hard ,,,,,,enough to raise the temp above normal operating temp or the cap is bad or a combination of any of those .

Get a $4.00 Stant cap.......yours is probably just old and not holding your pressure anymore. Very common issue and overlooked allot.
