Default Need help with failed items after scan

After scanning my car there were no DTC's but in the Service $06 section there was 5 failed items

02 31 EVAP purge leak vacuum fail test

07 0C No EGR off-idle test, MAF Out of range high

07 0D EGR decel test

0C 20 High Idle catalyst efficiency test - bank 1

0C 30 High Idle catalyst efficiency test - bank 2

I scanned my car because im having an idle issue when stopped at a light. The idle will be smooth for about 7 seconds then it gets jumpy (rpms hardly change). 2000 Trans Am 63k A4 stock

If your pulling mode $06 data what OBD tool you using to view them?
Some software is a bit "off" when it reads these.
Hard to say those are mature either.
MIN/MAX & actual value are all converted from hexadecimal to specified scale & unit of measurement for the real world readings.

That's where some OBD tools get it wrong. You don't know if their giving you raw data or some re-engineered version. There are all kinds of scanners out there.

But for the CID/TID's you listed the only one I'd be concerned with is evap & EGR as a idle problem.
I would concentrate on going thru the basic idle system components first before resorting to mode 6 for a fix.

I'm using a OBDLink SX with OBDWIZ software.
I checked the plastic pipe from the evap purge solenoid and it seems ok. I checked for a vacuum leak on both ends with starter fluid, no leak.
The egr seems ok, not clogged and i put a new o-ring on the egr pipe to the intake.

Both of those components are normally closed items.
If they leak/flow internally they will cause problems.
