Default headlight motor

Changed out the headlight actuator. But now when I turn them off it pops up and when I turn them on it goes down. Did they give me the passenger side instead of drivers?

+1 That linkage is probably not on correctly between the stops.

i took my headlight completely off once and faced such a issue
although keeping them both up with switch on
then shut them off worked.
