Default Tune up time!

95 lt1 only getting around 200-210 driving around town so I'm thinking tune up up here soon when I change the oil.
I'm thinking plugs/ wires seem fine they are msd but should I change them with plugs? If so what brand?
Good fuel injector cleaner (Lucas)
Fuel filter
Oil cause it's almost due
It does have a 158k on it and the motor is still strong so I'm thinking it's just due because the mileage has been slipping.
Any recommendations on what I should do with this kinda mileage besides things listed above or anything I may be missing?

Check air filter and tire pressure. A transmission filter and fluid change could be done too ( not a flush)

edit: ^^^ if its an auto...if manual a fluid change won't hurt...rear diff too.

Yeah I'm thinking about sea foam. I had read the whole article about how to use it. Seems promising.
What's mccc?

Tires are brand new and I checked the pressure so they are fine.
And I'll be doing the whole k&n filter recharge on it like always.
And the trans will be being taken out to get rebuilt so I'll do that then lol.

mopar combustion chamber cleaner. it can only be found at chrysler jeep dodge dealerships for about 7 bucks a can. its foam you spray through the throttle body and let it sit for an hour. caution - it may foul a spark plug or two, like it did to mine. but if you are about to change them it doesnt matter.

I didn't catch the k&n recharge the first time I read your post. Cleaning the MAF is something you should do. Always hear storys of the oil from those filters mucking up the sensor.

I'm using Autolite XP Xtreme Performance Spark Plugs

I don't know if they are the best option out there, but they are one of the few iridium (center electrode) plugs that also have platinum on the outer electrode as opposed to just a regular electrode. I've had them for about 75K miles and they are in good shape. The small center iridium electrode focuses the spark in a tighter spot, burning off deposits and both materials resist wearing away over time, so you don't have to re-gap. I'd definitely buy them again.

Put in a new PCV valve, those are cheap and will save you a lot of headache and mess compared to when they go bad. I don't know about the LT1, but it seems there are a lot of people on here who have the same oily problem I am now cleaning up on my '98 LS1.

To avoid cross-posting, you can view my updates here, in the Alternative: How to Seafoam your car thread, which is the MCCC one.

Yes, clean the MAF with MAF cleaner spray, especially if you have a K&N.
