Hey guys tomorrow I am going to buy some fluids for my car , 2002 camaro ss. And needed to know the amounts I will need for a few .
Trans fluid - its a automatic, so what kind of fluid ? And how many quarts ?
Rear end -how many quarts?
Coolant-how many gallons would I need after a complete flush ?

fluid for the 4L60 transmission is 5 qts for just a pan drop. The complete overhaul refill capacity is 10.8 qts.
rear end takes just under 2 qts, you will need to buy 3 because you will either not be able to squeeze it all out of the bottle or get enough out with a gear oil pump.
coolant is 11.8 qts, so either buy 2 gallons antifreeze and 2 gallons distilled water, or 3 gallons of 50/50 premixed.
