9 times out of 10 they break when you pull them out so most people will just buy a new dash pad through a local GM dealership. Every once in a while you will see a nice used one up for sale but it is pretty rare,

Are you kidding me? I just paid $250 shipped for a USED one on eBay that came out of a Camaro and gmpartsdirect.com wanted over $300 for a new one. Where are these $100 dashes you speak of? I'm going to pick up tons of these lol

The correct part number for the '98-99 dark gray (I'm assuming this is what you need based on your garage link) dash top panel is 10422746. I last ordered one in 2007 and the list price back then was $194.60. The list price shown today is $324.25, but it looks like it can be had from GMPD for $238.90 with shipping.

My old one came off and new one went on easy...because the windshield was off. Double check part numbers to make sure you're getting either grey or black...I mistakenly got a grey one and had to paint it.

Edit: scratch that. The first one is for pontiac. This one is for your year and model:

An auto glass shop cracked mine while changing my windshield....about 5 years ago. They had to pay $135.00 from my Pontiac Dealership. I'm talking about the one piece front part that snaps down into place and goes up the windshield.......not the soft dash pad piece.

I saw some on one of the site sponsors page I was browsing the other night, can't remember which one but I wanna say they had the upper dash panel in the formed plastic for something like 150 plus shipping, I need one too, my has a section busted out a crack in another spot and the area above the gauge cluster is warped.
