Default Gatorback belt fitment

So I just put on a gatorback # 4060790 and was wondering, the belt seems super tight, much less play in the tensioner. Is this normal? Waithing to start the car because I am not used to a belt this tight lol.

Checked that part no. and it's right. Not uncommon for new belt to be tighter fit than the one you replace, original one stretched making it easier to remove. Start your vehicle run it for a few seconds and then turn it off and check and make sure belt is riding in or on pulleys correctly. If all looks good then fire it up and check it again while running and you should be ok.

There are alignment marks on the tensioner, which will tell you if its correct or not. You may also check the sticker on the driver's shock tower and make sure your routing is correct.
