Default What kind of filter is this?

Went to change my air filter today and found this under my lid.. Don't know what kind it is. Any ideas? Ignore the fram box behind it.

Looks like the SLP Blackwing re-useable filter or a K&N. W.e. it is it needs to be cleaned and re-oiled.

Blackwing most likely. K&N have a red filter w/ black plastic rim.

Looks exactly like my K&N filter. When they get dirty and need to be cleaned they are dark like that and when you clean and reoil that is when they look reddish.

looks thicker then my K&N but I have the V6 so I don't know if that makes a difference I know the V8 airboxes are taller.

They both take the same K & N filter. And I think you are right, this looks a bit thicker. Could be just the picture.

Could be a wix. K&n has a reddish color to them and the wix filters Iv seen are white
