help! over heating
But also an air pocket can slowly grow over time if you have a very small leak. Then a restart can get it moving through again. Are you topped off with coolant.
.
And if its boiling at 245 you need more anti-freeze/coolant. Our engines can get up to 270 and the coolant shouldn't boil. IN A CLOSED SYSTEM THAT IS.
Or do you mean its boiling out of the over-flow tank.
.
If it was low you could of had an air bubble on the engine side of the t-stat.
.....You need to start the engine cold, radiator cap off. Stand there and wait for the coolant to start to flow. When it does, top it off when the level drops down. Then wait for it to happen again and top it off again.

Do what I said above..........to get it topped off with no air in there.
Only other way coolant boils inside the system....blown head gasket.
