(VID) High Voltage issue. Need help ASAP! Ok, so in the past month I've swapped out two autozone alternators. Granted they died after driving through 2 puddles of water durring heavy rain but now my THIRD seems to be showing alarming signs. This time, NO RAIN to blame it on. ... Suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Soo I ripped out my alternator and took it to autozone. It's passing and saying that the volt regulator is fine. ... I'm clueless now. ???
Sounds like it might be time to check your wiring and maybe the gauge. It could be a string of bad parts, but three alternators in two weeks says that something else is probably the problem. My suggestion is to have them test the battery. After that, get out a multimeter and put it on the battery while it's running. Verify that the voltmeter gauge is reading the proper voltage.
