Could my window motor be just seized?
Upon taking my car out of storage today, the driver side window won't budge. I can see it flex a little so there is power there (and noise)...but no movement. Could a window motor become seized from sitting/non-use? It worked fine when I parked it in the fall? Any help or tips would be appreciated... Otherwise I'm just going to replace the window motor, can get it for about $60 bucks. Thanks

Yup agreed! I messed with it a little but couldn't get it to budge. Then I brought it in to have them look at it while it was getting it's oil changed (nowhere to work on her where I live) and they are saying I need a new motor (cheap) and regulator (not cheap) . I don't see how though when I can hear the motor trying to crank the window down. It just seems stuck somehow, but I can't budge it...I'd rather have a new one anyways though since there is no telling how old it is.

My passenger window all of sudden died on me a few weeks ago,it ended up getting stuck down though, wouldn't budge when I press up or down on the button but I could hear the motor trying to work.Went to autozone and got a doorman motor for 40 bucks and my window is working good again. It even goes up and down faster than before,I had a AC Delco before and those were ok,but the doorman motors are awesome.
