Default What is this plug (near hatch lock mechanism)

Car is a 99 Trans Am A4.

I've been trying to get my hatch to pop and I don't know if this has anything to do with it. What does it go too?

I can hear the click when I push the button near the light swtch. But nothing happens at the hatch.....

My key opens it fine.

Thanks in advance!

Did you try switching those 2 plugs seen in the picture? It might be worth a try.

Try lifting on the hatch while you press the button on your keys. If struts or spring are the problem, that will let you know.

As far as that plug, I have no idea.
