side view mirror inside part.. This morning I woke up and noticed my driver's side mirror was sagging a bit on my 98 trans am.. When i started to drive I noticed that the side view mirror was bouncing up and down slightly as I hit bumps.. I took it home and took of the side view mirror and located a piece inside the side view mirror that was broken. The piece mounts the side view mirror to the door. Does anybody know where I can find this part??? Thanks!
If it is a clean break I would stick it back together with some 5 minute epoxy, let it cure for 5-6 hours, then put a bead of JB Weld around the fissure and let it cure overnight. That should make it like brand new.

Ya it is a clean break in half. OK man sounds good Ill give it a try. I already checked around it looks like I will have to purchase a whole new side view mirror just to get the broken piece I need. Ill try your method first.
