Default Nothing like completing an engine swap and having the rear main seal leak...

So I changed the rear main seal on my LQ9 that I just put in, and its leaking insane amounts of oil. I'm talking half a quart a day or something stupid like that...
Totally sucks...
Rest of the engines running fine though.
I think this is the last engine swap I'll ever do on my own; the amount of time just isn't worth it for me. And the frustration is never ending it seems...
Anyone know how much shops charge to fix this?

Sucks man......too bad its a 15 minute repair, but the damn tranny has to be dropped to get to it.

I had a friend who has a lift......he dropped my tranny in 45 minutes after putting it on the lift, I did the seal while he worked on another car. Then he came over to put the tranny back in. I gave him $50.00. But I also helped the whole time on the tranny R&R too.

Try to find a side-job guy like that, maybe in an F-Body club.

But I would guess a shop would charge $350.00 for tranny R&R and replacing the seal.
