Volts dropping in high heat? bad alternator??

alternator dont seem bad just seems with age its not putting out the original 100 rated amps and now cant power the car properly

That could be, but its impossible to guess at something like that unless you measure it. If it does have an internal short or other issue, you should be able to take it to a parts store and have them bench test it.
