Passenger seat metal/cable spring broke
I finally got around this morning to trying to find the culprit for my passenger seat not going forward or backward. I was hoping that it was going to be a coin lodged or something really simple... but not my lucky day
Turns out that the lever when pushed is supposed to unlock both sides of the track (one side seems to be directly connected to the lever & the other connects via a metal/cable spring). Well, the metal/cable spring broke off and does not allow one side to disengage from the metal track on the seat rail.
Has anyone else had this problem & if so where did you end up finding that metal/cable spring?
Secondly, did you have to take off the seat to replace that little spring?
Thanks in advance for the help!
