Default Lots of play in steering, vid inside.

I have a considerable amount of steering play in my car now.
Replaced the rack and tie rods, everything else seems good.

It appears that the steering shaft is moving into the rack, and the wheels do not move.

What is going on with my steering..its killin me.

The rag-joint in the steering shaft might be shot; or something is not tightened correctly.

Only two things that come to mind is that you got a bad new rack, the rag joint, or something in the steering shaft is loose.

Mine does that. Where is the rag joint? Is it in the steering knuckle?

I noticed zero difference between my stock steering rack and the replacement rack. I really thought that was it givin the many many many miles my car has.

Hope the steering shaft fixes my issues.
