P0412, P0418 Help?
Last week I installed a 160 degree thermostat and put my Granatelli Air Lid in place of the stock lid. Car's running like ****. Car started throwing P0412 and P0418 and after reading up on those codes and symptoms, I decided to replace the AIR / Smog Pump today. Disconnected the battery and put a new pump in, checked the connections and hoses and put it back together, stock pump was nasty, some water leaked out.
Car is running a little better, feels stronger..but it still idles rough and acceleration is delayed is inconsistent. I had none of these problems before I installed the aftermarket lid and thermostat, and with replacing the pump..I'm wondering what to check next.
Any help?
Now I'm getting P0443, P0449, P0740 and P1860. I'm occasionally getting the P0131 and P0151 codes still.
From what I've read is that P0740 and P1860 are most likely from a loss of voltage to the transmission solenoid power supply.
What should I check as a start point?
p0740, p1860: http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/tcc-...nny-62737.html
not familiar with the 4L60 but i read it has a PWM valve. if pwm means pulse width modulated then there's a chance that electronic part burnt out... had a PWM controller on my Jeep that controlled radiator fan speed and that pwm module failed causing fans to never turn on and engine overheated at low speeds. but according to the hotrodders link it says might be due to worn valve body and transgo has a fix kit for it.
I'm going to take the car in on Monday and have the transmission looked at, hopefully it's a relatively simple fix.. All these codes are ridiculous, I had none of these problems before I installed the new lid and thermostat...

P0412, P0418, P0443, P0449, P0740, P1860.
They say the PCM and wiring is fine. Air pump codes are back, previous owner hob-gobbled fuel pump wiring to try and disable the fuel pressure solenoid? Didn't look at transmission other than see the codes, so I'm in a race to get enough $ and do the fixes before something breaks.
