Driver's Seatbelt Issue
Thanks for any help
The retractor needs to be changed. (They are 100% non-servicable.) Any local or online GM dealer can get you one. You'll just need to cross reference the car's VIN to make sure you get the correct one. The dealer will match up the unit to the color, body type, etc.
While you are at it, I'd also replace the guide that screws in to the side of your seat's headrest. They are really brittle and it will break at some point. (It's really easy to change while you are replacing the retractor.)
There's a few bolts at the retractor and a tingle large torx bolt at the floor. It's all really easy to replace - except the key is to make sure you properly torque all bolts with a torque wrench.
