In car oil pan replacement??????

Default In car oil pan replacement??????

I NEED TO REPLACE THE OIL PAN IN MY 02 SS M6. (cracked). IS IT POSSIBLE TO LEAVE THE ENGINE IN MY CAR TO DO THIS? MY TRANS AND BELLHOUSING ARE ALREADY OUT.

I REALLY HOPE THE ANSWER IS NOT WHAT I THINK. THANKS

Pretty sure you will need to drop the K member to swap the pan.

If you can its going to be a pain. The motor has to lift up enough to be able to get the pick up tube out from the windage tray and then a little more for the pan itself to clear the pick up tube.
