Default 2002 Firehawk Heat Issue

Hey all,

We just purchased an 02 Hawk for my wife and we are having some heat issues. The blower works fine, but the heat is lukewarm at best. I plan on flushing the cooling system, but could there be another issue? I previously had a 92 Camaro and ended up replacing a vaccuum valve that caused the heat issues. Anyone had a similar problem and can offer suggestions? I'd hate to flush the system and find out I didn't get the heater core clean because of a simple valve or other device.
