Power steering leak!
Depending on where it is leaking, is it easier to rebuild it? or replace it... If its easier to rebuild it, are all Chevy steering racks the same? The car doesnt have the stock engine in it... I have no clue if its the stock steering rack

More than likely it's the stock rack and pinion. First find where the leak is, 9/10 it could be a rotted steel PS line, which AFAIR can't be more than $70 in parts.
If it happens to be your rack and pinion, don't bother with rebuilding it unless it's substantially less, as most parts these days come with lifetime warranties which justifies the extra cost in my opinion.

I would take a Turn One rebuild ANY/EVERY day over a new (if that is even possible), or remanned Cardone, regardless of any "limited lifetime warranties" they may offer.
