driveshaft rubbing on SLP exhaust resonator???!?! heellpp
well, had the car in the air today and realized this noise ive been complaining about is apparently coming from the rear ujoint rubbing on my SLP exhaust. WTF!!! the resonator is close enought to the driveshafts ujoint that its it is hitting the SLP Loudmouth resonator muffler. everytime the driveshaft turns, it rubs slightly on the muffler.
now the position that its in i have no idea how to get more clearance. Do they make a smaller muffler? the Exhaust is definitly solid and its for this year. car has the aluminum driveshaft if that helps.
im guessing i can maybe put a dent in the resonator to help with clearence or should i cut some pipe to move it further up? anyone have this problem??
ive heard SOOO many people on here complaining about rear end clunking and im sure this issue has been overlooked as it has with me.
