Default Fan relays 1,2,3

I removed the two 4 pin relays thinking they were the same but after buying replacements they are listed under different part numbers. I cant remember if the gray 4 goes beside the 5 pin relay (in the middle) or on the right and the black relay in the middle. The fuse block diagram only states the 1,2,3 positions. Will it damage the relays if I switch them by accident. It seems either one will fit in the two remaining positions. Thanks

I recently replaced my radiator and my coolant temp sensor so in the process I decided to go ahead and replace the relays. Bought the AC Delco ones from advance which all have the same part numbers. I too noticed that some of my relays had different numbers, but I used the new AC Delco ones anyways. I haven't had a problem. My fans still kick on when they should.

Replaced them this morning. I took a 120 mile road trip and the fans worked fine. I kept my predator plugged in and the temp never got to 200 degrees.
