Default P0446 error Code Wont accept gas into the tnak

the past weekend i went mudding with my 07' Silverado and sunk her to the gills
3 days later she won't accept gas at the pump. I will get about a liter into the tank before the pump shuts off and anytime after that it becomes less and less I've had to resort to floating the nozzle above the opening in order to get a continuous flow.
Last night I had a friend and licensed mechanic drop my entire fuel tank and blew out all the lines we couldnt find any obstructions in the system we put it back together and the problem still persists

after a bit of research i think I may have flooded my charcoal canister whenever I got the truck stuck the water was up to the top of the fuel tank anybody have any idea's? I am already 2500$ poorer from this mudding adventure and need my truck back running so I can go back to work in 2 weeks.

Mud in the vent valve, they have a redesigned part and location for it per GM.

You see it often on them

I'm pretty sure I already have it on my truck. There's a plastic accordion type tube running all the way up onto of my tranny. Pulled maybe a 1/4 cup of water out of it Using a Gerry can it fills fine

1. Remove the evaporative vent solenoid and canister.

2. Check for dirt in the system.

3. Install the updated evaporative vent solenoid and filter assembly if dirt is found.

4. Also replace the canister if more than a few particles of dirt are present in the evaporative canister.

evap canister is clogged...lot of fbody owners evap canisters are starting to fail with age, suppose what ever is in them (charcoal?) is breaking up, decomposing, clogging the lines? In your case likely mud clogged...

250$ later GM fixed the problem. It was already one of the updated setups but fine silt managed to destroy it. Yay!
