A/c help!
You need to bite the bullet and take it to a repair shop so they can pull a vacuum on the system to boil out any moisture that may have gotten in since it was apart. Then properly charge it. A can will not have the proper charge.
If you do take it to a shop, be sure to tell them you put a can of stuff in, bring the can to them so they can see if it had sealer in it. Some shops, mine included will not touch a system if it has had sealer in it.
As for the blowing on your feet, it may be a vac problem, but usually the system will default to defrost in the event that you have a vac loss. You may have other mode door issues.
hopefully it wasnt bad....
any idea what shops charge to fix A/C............
reach back there on pass side and find the hose and
put it back onto the fitting at back of intake.
and then go to a shop like rpmauto said.
as far as which shop you can go any chain place.
or the dealer.
A/C recharge is standard $100 job usually.
to the brake booster and other items.
if not then your just gonna have to run
a vacuum T in the supply to booster.
im guessing it will be a 5/8 with a 1/8 nipple
off it.
