Default Heater core leaking coolant

Hello, anybody have expertise on best way to get to heater core to replace or just by pass? Thanks in Advance [

if u live where u never will need or want heat then loop it and forget i.

otherwise its a 10+ hr job to replace it.

Umm....no. It is not close to a 10 hour job. For many cars yes, but not these.

OP, it is basically behind the glove box. You can remove it and a shroud/cover should be covering the heater core. Of course you'll drain coolant, disconnect hoses, etc. but it is not too bad. I would get a good AC Delco replacement so you aren't doing it again anytime soon.

Its maybe 2 hours at the MOST. Take the hoses off under from under the hood, remove the glove box and I believe another insulator panel or 2, and the heater case is right there.

+1, very easy to do. Nowhere near a 10 hour job.
