Yea, the channels and geometry of both regulators will be governed by the geometry of the door. Same door, same glass - same tracks.

The window sash channel is the same part. That window was a PITA to get out. looks like the part that has broke is actually separate from the channel itself. It is just riveted in between the window and the channel. So I am going to take my chances, drill the rivets on both doors and replace that piece. I do not want to deal with just trying to put the whole new window in.

You might check with a glass/body shop to make sure you have the correct rivets and tool. A normal pop riveter will not be big enough to do the job and you don't want to use a steel rivet in place of an aluminum one, etc.

The sash channel was replaced once before. I just used some 1/4-20 bolts in with lock nuts and washers. Luckily I had another window because as I was taking the old one of the track... that window shattered! anyone who reads this... this is a warning. I don't know if it already was cracked in an area or what... but it happened. after that just threw the new one back in with locktite and worked fine. but I think who did it before me, maybe over tightened the bolts that were in there so when I loosened them the "stress" must have broke it. In the end, it works like a champ, and better than before. The job done before was not done the way it should be.

This is why rivets need to be used. They distribute the clamping force evenly. Bolts won't do that and if they pinch any small area, they will shatter the safety glass.

After my luck this weekend, im not touching it... lol. Overall the job was not "hard" just a huge PITA. I would rather change the differential. Im thinking the reason it shattered, is because the bushing clips in the window were broke to begin with.

Default Same situation but I can't get the window out.

Okay so I as well have the same situation. The roller was broken off and in need of a "new" window sash channel. I'm currently in the midst of it all. I have the "new" part. But I can't get the dang window out of the door. It'd be easy to slide out but I have one roller still in its channel... I can't slide it out. Thus I can't get the window out. Any help would be appreciated.

Factory service process is to remove the door speaker and drill out the rivets while the glass is still in the door. Similarly, the new rivets are installed with the parts inside the door.
