Before I go into taking apart my door, im basically trying to get a plan of attack on this and what to expect. I know there is a similar thread on this but I am unsure thats what it is. Last night after the track I came home to my window not rolling up as if it was out of track it would get caught near the front on the way up. I eventually got it up and as I opened the door, the window fell in towards the car about 45 degree angle. I noticed the triangular piece had fallen off and the window will slide back and forth on the car. Like its out of track. I want to try and figure out what parts I will need and price out. Im sure someone has had this same problem, im just wondering what it is beforehand so I know what I am getting into.
Thanks,

The first picture is the limit stop. It keeps your window from going too high and is normal. The triangular piece that fell off should have a screw holding it on. (See the other side of your car.)
The broken part is where a roller ripped out of the bracket. (The metal around the hole for the roller fatigues and cracks. Solutions are towards the middle and end of this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/general-m...oor-seals.html
The lean of your glass points to another roller being out. That The other one probably just had the plastic roller pop off the post. It should pop right back on, but you'll probably have to take the track out and then put it back in to solve that issue.

I read that he just bought it through the stealership, but did not see what part exactly it was. Do you know the part number, or what it is called? My buddy owns a shop and said he could replace it, i just need to get the part/parts.
Thanks

yeah, looks like it. Im having a buddy look around at the junk yard he works for. I told him if he can just get the whole door as long as everything is there. This way i always have extras for the future. But hopefully i can get this fixed and never have to mess with it again... for 10 years or so. lol.
Thanks for the help

I do not have access to a welder at my house. I could weld it if i could get it out and bring it to work. That and i dont want to risk shattering the window. I would rather replace it with a "new" one, and then take the old one off and fix it correctly and have one for if it were to happen again beings they are discontinued for the drivers side.

The manual and power channels should be the same, the difference is in the regulator. You don't need to remove the regulator to do it, but it's a PITA to get the old channel out. And if you do leave the regulator in, leave the motor attached to it! Otherwise the regulator spring will unwind, and then you're screwed.

Nice, Hopefully someone will chime in and know if they work or not. Atleast i have found a few local yards that have doors for power windows for 100 bucks. atleast i get to pick up my new DR's tonight!
I know people like to do the power to manual conversion, and i believe the regulator is the only new part they have to buy. so im thinking the channel is the same just havent found a for sure answer on that yet. I have been diggin.
Thanks for all the help!

according to this site, it does look like the only difference inside the door is the regulator
